Campus Service Worker

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Zero to six (0-6) months of directly related work experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to operate powered custodial equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop and carry items as necessary.
• Ability to learn how to apply custodial products (cleaners, surface finishes, and disinfectants).
• Ability to read and write and follow safety instructions.
• Ability to maintain proper attendance levels and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work overtime as required     
• Ability to manage time and resources effectively
• Ability to operate a computer and accurately enter information.
• Ability to function in highly stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to perform work in a professional capacity, technical language as well as in simple, everyday terminology utilizing both written and oral communications.
• Self-motivated/ability to function with minimal supervision/direction and lead by example.
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
• Ability to crawl and climb heights over 10 feet.
• Ability to lift materials over 50 lbs.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime and respond during off hours as needed.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment, heights and uneven surfaces.
