Overview

The Field Case Development Manager promotes organ and tissue donation for transplantation through onsite leadership of Donation Coordinators, collaboration with hospital partners, and oversight of donor management and organ placement activities. This role ensures operational excellence, staff development, and strong hospital relationships while advancing LiveOnNY’s mission and public awareness of organ and tissue donation. The Field Case Development Manager performs all Donation Coordinator duties as assigned and provides onsite clinical and operational leadership across the department. The role facilitates processes that promote, preserve, and increase organ and tissue donation opportunities by ensuring prompt, accurate, and effective evaluation of referrals, potential donor management, and organ recovery.

The Field Case Development Manager must maintain a residence within LiveOnNY’s designated service area and maintain readiness to travel to assigned donor hospitals in a timely manner, including immediate response upon assignment or reassignment, in support of donor evaluation, donor management, recovery coordination, surge response, or operational needs.
