Interstate Waste Services (IWS) is hiring an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic A to join our maintenance team in Valley Cottage, NY.

What You'll Work On
- Refuse trucks and heavy-duty diesel equipment
- Diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Air brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components
- DPF and emissions systems
- Preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and major repairs
Requirements
- 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience
- Diesel mechanic experience required
- Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience
- Engine, transmission, and chassis repair expertise
- Experience with Cummins, Mack, Allison, Peterbilt, Paccar, and diagnostic software tools
- Experience maintaining air brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair DPF/emissions systems
- Must provide own tools
- Valid Driver's License Required
