Our 15-week, full-time, paid Perioperative Nursing Program is designed to prepare Registered Nurses for both the scrub and circulating roles in the Operating Room, providing the foundation for a rewarding long-term career in surgical services.

Through classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, mock surgical experiences, and precepted clinical rotations, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in the OR. Following successful completion of the program, you'll continue specialized orientation and training across additional surgical specialties.

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Primarily 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Schedule may vary based on department needs
• On-call responsibilities include:
  • One weekday call shift per week
  • One 24-hour weekend call shift every 5 weeks (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
  • One holiday call shift annually
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
