More about the Role
Bear Creek Animal Hospital | Wentzville, MO$18–$23/hour
If you're a veterinary technician who enjoys the variety of general practice but also wants opportunities to learn from doctors with experience in surgery, orthopedics, and emergency medicine, Bear Creek Animal Hospital may be a great fit for your next step.
We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team in our newer Wentzville facility. As a primarily general practice hospital, you'll see the preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, and day-to-day medicine that make GP so varied, while also working alongside DVMs whose backgrounds bring additional depth in emergency medicine, surgery, and orthopedics.
At Bear Creek, we believe great patient care starts with people who feel supported by the team around them. We're intentionally building a workplace centered on collaboration, compassion, professional growth, and wellbeing; where team members can do work they're proud of while still having a life outside of the hospital.
More Than Your Typical GP Experience
Our facility opened in 2024 and was designed to support high-quality medicine and continued growth. You'll work with:
- Six exam rooms and two surgical suites
- A dedicated dental area
- Ultrasound and surgical cutting laser
- A varied general practice medical and surgical caseload
- Orthopedic services
- Opportunities to participate in more complex cases and continue expanding your technical skills
You'll work alongside Dr. Christen Fielding, whose experience includes general practice, surgery, and emergency and urgent-care medicine, and Dr. Katherine Carr, who brings experience in both emergency medicine and orthopedic services to Bear Creek.
That combination gives our technicians the opportunity to build a strong foundation in general practice while learning from DVMs with experience managing more complex medical and surgical cases.
