Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Complete maintenance and repair services according to Mercedes-Benz factory standards and dealership policies.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional service recommendations.
- Diagnose complex drivability, performance, and electrical concerns using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Document repair procedures, diagnostics, and recommended services thoroughly and accurately.
- Maintain productivity and efficiency goals while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Department personnel to ensure timely vehicle repairs.
- Participate in Mercedes-Benz training programs and stay current on evolving vehicle technologies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, dealership policies, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Deliver a positive customer experience by ensuring repairs are completed correctly the first time.
Qualifications
- Mercedes-Benz certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and advanced vehicle systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic scanners, specialized tools, and shop equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
