While our guests are busy packing for the adventure of a lifetime and dreaming about their Alaskan getaway, you’re making sure every journey begins and ends seamlessly. As a Luggage Truck Driver, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. More than transporting bags, you’re ensuring that every suitcase, duffel, and keepsake arrives safely and on time. With a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail, you help create a smooth, welcoming arrival and departure for thousands of guests—making their home-away-from-home feel just a little more comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of driving and luggage handling tasks.
Routinely, drives a truck, loads and unloads luggage, picks-up and delivers luggage.
Assists with lost luggage claims.
Loads and unloads luggage from truck and motorcoaches.
Performs basic mechanical duties.

Requirements

One year of experience in positions involving driving and luggage handling preferred.
Current, valid driver's license, with three (3) years clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.
Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
Current, valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B with an air brake endorsement is required. (May be obtained through Company training course.)
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds regularly, sometimes above head level.
Must be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
You will also be entered into our random drug testing program.
Minimum age of 21 is required for your CDL.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors.
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

Ability to communicate clearly with guests, employees, and management.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
