When Equipment Goes Down, Customers Don't Need a Sales Pitch. They Need a Solution.

That's where you come in.

WMH Solutions is hiring a Product Support Sales Representative to grow our parts, service, and aftermarket business throughout the Alabama market.

This is a field-based B2B outside sales role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, identifying operational needs, and turning those conversations into long-term business.

You'll work directly with manufacturers, warehouses, distribution centers, contractors, and other industrial operations that depend on their equipment to keep moving.

Your job isn't simply to sell a part.

It's to understand what the customer needs, connect them with the right WMH solution, and become someone they call before they call the competition.

This Is a Hunter Role

Let's be clear about the opportunity.

This isn't a role built around waiting for inbound leads or simply maintaining an established book of business.

Approximately:

80% β€” New Business Development

10% β€” Account Reactivation

10% β€” Existing Customer Development

You'll have an established company, service infrastructure, product portfolio, and internal team behind you.

Your opportunity is to build the territory in front of you.

What You'll Sell β€” Parts, Service & Aftermarket Solutions

You'll represent solutions that directly impact your customers' equipment uptime and operations, including: You don't need to walk in knowing every part number or every forklift model.

You do need the curiosity to understand industrial equipment, ask good questions, uncover business needs, and learn how WMH solves them.

We'll help with the product knowledge.

Your Territory Becomes Your Business.

You'll be responsible for developing it through consistent prospecting, customer interaction, follow-up, and relationship building.

You'll: You'll have clear expectations around prospecting, customer activity, pipeline development, and revenue performance.

How you organize the territory, build relationships, and create opportunity is where your sales ability comes in.

Who Thrives Here?

We're interested in people who know how to create business β€” not simply wait for it to arrive.

You'll likely do well here if you: βœ“ Are comfortable initiating conversations and opening new accounts
βœ“ Don't depend entirely on inbound leads to build your pipeline
βœ“ Enjoy being in the field and meeting customers face-to-face
βœ“ Can hear β€œnot right now” without treating it as β€œnever”
βœ“ Ask questions before trying to sell something
βœ“ Follow up consistently without needing someone to remind you
βœ“ Can manage multiple customers, prospects, quotes, and priorities
βœ“ Are comfortable being measured against activity and sales goals
βœ“ Build credibility with operations and maintenance professionals
βœ“ Are curious about equipment and how customers operate
βœ“ Use CRM to manage your business and opportunities
βœ“ Take ownership when your territory isn't producing the results you want
βœ“ Want your performance to influence what you earn

If you're naturally proactive, competitive, organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable creating your own opportunities, you'll understand this role quickly.

Your Background Doesn't Have to Say β€œForklift Sales”

Material handling experience is valuable.

It isn't the only path into this role.

We're interested in candidates with experience in areas such as: If you've successfully sold products or services where equipment uptime, operations, maintenance, service, or customer relationships matter, your experience may translate well here.

We can teach material handling. We need you to bring the drive to develop business.

Experience Matters Here

A bachelor's degree is welcomed, but demonstrated sales performance and relevant professional experience matter.

If you've built business, developed a territory, opened new accounts, or successfully sold industrial or service solutions without a four-year degree, we still want to hear from you.

Compensation & Sales Support

Your compensation should reward the business you build.

WMH offers: πŸ’° $40,000+ base + Commission & Performance Incentives
πŸš— $800/Month Auto + Phone Allowance
πŸ“ˆ Sales Incentives Tied to Performance
🎯 Defined Territory & Sales Goals
πŸŽ“ Product, Industry & Sales Training
🀝 Support from Service, Parts, Sales, Rental & Leadership
🏭 A Broad Portfolio of Material Handling & Aftermarket Solutions

Your earning opportunity grows with your ability to develop the territory and generate results.

Benefits That Support More Than the Workday

Eligible WMH associates have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, financial future, and time away from work.

Benefits include: Benefit eligibility and specific plan provisions are governed by applicable WMH plan documents and policies.

Build More Than a Sales Territory

Product Support puts you in the middle of the customer relationship.

You'll learn the equipment, customer operations, aftermarket business, service organization, and what drives industrial customers to buy.

For strong performers, that experience can create opportunities to continue developing across WMH.

Potential career paths may include: Senior Territory Sales β€’ Major/Strategic Accounts β€’ Sales Leadership β€’ Aftermarket Leadership β€’ Branch/Regional Operations

The goal isn't to give you a flashy title.

It's to give strong performers room to keep growing.
