This is an opportunity to join an established commercial mechanical contractor and work alongside experienced service and operations professionals while helping customers improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and lower operating costs through customized planned maintenance programs and HVAC solutions.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As a Commercial HVAC Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is developing new commercial business while growing recurring planned maintenance agreement revenue.You’ll work directly with facility managers, property managers, building owners, contractors, and other decision-makers to provide customized maintenance solutions that improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support long-term operating reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and develop new commercial customers through networking, cold calling, referrals, and relationship building
- Generate new planned maintenance agreement opportunities, with recurring maintenance sales as the primary focus
- Meet with customers to evaluate HVAC equipment, operating needs, and service requirements
- Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial HVAC planned maintenance agreements
- Identify and develop replacement equipment opportunities that arise through customer relationships and maintenance evaluations
- Build long-term relationships with property managers, facility managers, engineers, building owners, and business leaders
- Identify additional repair, retrofit, and capital improvement opportunities when appropriate
- Present proposals, communicate value, and negotiate maintenance agreements and equipment replacement opportunities
- Coordinate with service, estimating, and operations teams to ensure accurate scope, pricing, and a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, follow-up schedules, and sales forecasts
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and prospects
Qualifications
Who We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who enjoys winning business and creating opportunities-not waiting for them.The ideal candidate has a true hunter mentality, is self-motivated, and enjoys building relationships that develop into long-term planned maintenance partnerships.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience preferred
- Commercial HVAC, mechanical, construction, industrial, or facilities services sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience selling planned maintenance agreements, preventative maintenance agreements, or recurring service contracts strongly preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, generate new business, and close sales
- Ability to identify replacement equipment opportunities and communicate value to commercial customers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with service and operations teams
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
