A leading developer in the global automation market, Pepperl+Fuchs is looking a hardworking, ambitious individual, with a strong background in industrial automation sales, to fill an immediate need for a "results driven" Account Manager in Wisconsin. 

As a Pepperl+Fuchs Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales activities with existing accounts while having the freedom to pursue new accounts.  This is a great opportunity to maximize your ability to create new relationships and provide valuable solutions to your customers with products that have a solid, positive industry reputation. 

Account Manager Responsibilities:

The Account Manager will have the overall responsibility for account management including:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities at these accounts as well as new accounts.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer applications and provide consultative solutions using Pepperl+Fuchs products.
• Collaborate with internal product management and market teams to support customer solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, territory plans, and activity reports.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor activity.
• Willingness to travel across the state of Wisconsin on a daily/weekly basis as business dictates.

Account Manager - the background you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with industrial automation sales.
• Desire to grow professionally.

Preferred background:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

Experience selling in one of the following markets:

• Original Equipment Manufacturing
• Automotive Manufacturing
• Material Handling Machinery
• Autonomous Vehicle Technology
• IIoT Industry 4.0
• Packaging Machinery
• Mobile Equipment
• Semiconductors/electronics industries
