CT PAY TRANSPARANCY: Production Associate (Screen Print) Minimum Pay $19.00/hour

As a Production Associate, is responsible for assisting with the production of screen print process.  Includes quality checks to ensure high-quality finished goods to meet customers’ expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.
• Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.
• Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.
• Assist the press operator by loading material on press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.
• Operation of machinery is used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.
• Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
• Ensures that their area and equipment is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
• Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

• Familiarity with screen printing machines and software.
• Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.

• An eye for accuracy to catch irregularities ensuring that we only send out the best product.     
• A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual.      
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.      
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.    
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
• Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
• Candidates are required to see and differentiate colors for accuracy in inspecting the product during and after being processed
• Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed and maintain excellent attendance

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
