Night Shift Quality Auditor - Manufacturing

Job Title: Quality Control Auditor Department: Quality 

FLSA: Non-exempt Status:  Full Time

Reports to: Quality Manager

Customary Days: 2-2-3 Schedule

Customary Hours: 6:00 pm – 6:10 pm 

36-48 hours per week; hours may be extended when work load is increased 

Position Summary

The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for verifying conformance of product to Company specifications, rejecting nonconforming product to be scrapped or approving conforming product to be shipped. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform in-process QC testing and finished product audits.
• Perform incoming receiving inspection and analysis on raw materials.
• Conduct finished goods inspections at the warehouse. Inspect mulch, mat and tube products for any quality issues and report findings.
• Maintain quality documentation.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse personnel to resolve any material handling issues impacting package integrity.
• Prepare any product samples for Sales/Marketing personnel.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Language Skills:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish preferred

• May require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. 
• Must be flexible in regards to work schedule and have the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
