Account Manager/Sales Representative

Salary: $47,840.00 base salary plus commission ($100,000+ potential annual earnings)

EMR’s Industrial Division is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager/Sales Representative to develop new business, maintain existing customer relationships, and grow accounts through our K.A.R.E. (Keep, Attain, Recapture, Expand) sales strategy. The ideal candidate will regularly call on businesses, identify customer needs, present solutions, and ensure we consistently deliver on our commitments. Responsibilities include prospecting, account management, territory development, and developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve growth objectives. 

Ideal candidate will have experience using a CRM platform to track customer communications, manage opportunities, and maintain an organized sales pipeline. Industrial equipment, manufacturing, maintenance, or related industry experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be skilled in consultative selling, relationship building, and account expansion. Experience identifying and pursuing contract, awards, bid, and grant opportunities through SAM.gov and similar procurement platforms is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable helping to prepare bid responses, monitoring procurement opportunities, and supporting government, municipal, and industrial/ commercial sales efforts. Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills are essential. EMR Industrial is a leading provider of service, repair, installation and sales of Electric Motors, Pumps, Gearboxes and controls. Founded in 1927 in Baltimore, MD, we are a 3rd-generation, family-owned and operated business. Our office is located at the corner of Loch Raven Blvd and 25th Street in Baltimore City. 

The Account Manager/Sales Representative will work out of our Baltimore office and seek to develop new accounts. Office hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is a base salary of $47,840.00 plus commission, with the potential to earn six figures annually. 

Qualifications: 

• Must have experience/background in Outside Sales
• Must possess strong organizational, customer service and communication skills
• Experience dealing with Industrial accounts, electric motors and mechanical related equipment a plus. 

• Be a Team player and self-motivated. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate a CRM to track sales productivity, prospecting and customer activity.
• Must be a member of or willing to join 1 business networking group

• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years. Account Manager/Sales Rep will use an EMR branded company car. 

• Must Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
