Job Description: Logistics Coordinator II

 Location: This position is onsite and is based in Wilmington, MA

Position Summary:

Energetiq is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic and growing technology company. The Logistics Coordinator is directly responsible for or coordination of transportation requirements, shipping paperwork, and export compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support

• Review customer Sales Order Acknowledgement for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with Sales to resolve any omissions or inaccuracies.
• Where applicable provide Order Administration with weights and dimensions of packages for quoting purposes.
• Maintain electronic filing of all shipping-related documents and paperwork.
• Verify export compliance on ‘Do not ship’ list for each end-user order using Visual Compliance system. Screen Distributors and large OEMs quarterly.

Service Support

• Update service tracker with status and shipping information.
• Other activities as required.

Shipping

• Coordinate with manufacturing and schedule shipments to achieve > 98% on-time delivery.
• Perform shipping-related activities for OEM customers’ specific requirements. This includes portal maintenance, special labeling, etc.
• As the internal expert on customer shipping systems, maintain complete and accurate company procedures and ensure that a backup person is adequately trained.
• Prepare all documentation for outgoing shipments (International/Domestic). This includes packing slips, customs paperwork, pick lists, quality reports, etc.
• Coordinate Pick-up with shipping companies
• Electronic filing of packing documents and all related shipping paperwork.
• Obtain quotations for large shipments.
• Periodically review shipping prices. Obtain quotations and work to push shipping costs down.
• Prepare shipping paperwork for RMAs.

Quality

• Target zero customer complaints related to shipping mistakes.
• Work collaboratively with the Energetiq team to identify and implement projects that improve overall performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum education includes an associate degree in a relevant field, preferably related to production and logistics.
• One to three years of experience in international shipping and logistics
• Experience with ERP systems
• Extremely organized
• Strong analytical skills
• Competent user of MS Office products

The compensation salary range for this role is $25.00/hr to $29.00/hr. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
