Description

About USA Triathlon Foundation

The USA Triathlon Foundation supports grants and programs that advance three philanthropic priorities: encouraging youth participation, inspiring pathways to access and inclusion, and igniting Olympic and Paralympic dreams.

With the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon, USA Triathlon and the USA Triathlon Foundation are

entering an extraordinary period of opportunity and visibility for the sport. The Foundation launched the Elevate28 Campaign in 2026, a $28 million fundraising initiative built to elevate the future of triathlon in the United States and strengthen the pipeline of development and elite athletes, programs, and resources leading into and beyond LA28.

Position Summary

The Development Coordinator is an integral member of the USA Triathlon Foundation team, supporting the day-to-day

operations, fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and events that advance the Foundation's mission.

Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and Senior Manager, Foundation Operations & Donor Engagement,

this role provides broad support across nonprofit development, including donor stewardship, gift processing, Salesforce

administration, fundraising campaigns, event execution, Foundation Ambassador engagement, Board of Trustees logistics, and donor communications.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and energized by working in a fast-paced environment.

They bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for sport and the impact that philanthropy can have on athletes and communities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career development professional to gain meaningful, hands-on experience across the full spectrum of fundraising and nonprofit operations while building relationships with donors, athletes, volunteers, corporate partners, and leaders within the triathlon community.

This position is based at USA Triathlon headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with occasional travel and weekend

work required during peak event periods.
