Description

About Maryland Wellness

At Maryland Wellness, we foster hope, dignity, and growth by providing compassionate behavioral health and wellness services and the skills needed to strengthen lives, relationships, and communities. Our vision is a Maryland where every individual has access to behavioral health and wellness support that empowers them to heal, grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Our Havre de Grace location is proud to serve a community where relationships carry weight, and where trust tends to be earned over years, not weeks. We are looking for a provider who understands that kind of patience and staying power, and who is ready to build that same trust with clients at every stage of their recovery journey. Our team is guided by values of Compassion, Commitment, Respect, Collaboration, Transparency, and Innovation, and we extend those same values inward, fostering a supportive workplace where staff feel valued, resourced, and able to do their best work.

Maryland Wellness is seeking a compassionate, licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team, serving clients in Havre de Grace, Maryland. We offer flexible employment options as a 1099 contractor or W-2 employee. This position is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. If you are passionate about creating positive change within your community by serving those in need, then we encourage you to apply and join our team.

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our Havre de Grace office.

In this role, you will support clients in developing cognitive, emotional, and social skills, building effective coping strategies for managing mental health symptoms, and navigating life challenges.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a Mental Health Therapist with Maryland Wellness, you will collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that outline both short term and long term goals, utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances. You will be responsible for monitoring and documenting progress toward these goals, addressing urgent mental health concerns as they arise, and working closely with other members of the client's treatment team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. When appropriate, you'll assist clients in accessing additional resources or higher levels of care to best support their wellness journey.

All services will be provided in alignment with Maryland Wellness' clinical standards and in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
