One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team!

Job Summary: 

The Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of all food services during dinner at the Woodstock Inn & Resort.  This dynamic leader will effectively lead the team to maintain high standards of quality in product, service delivery and elegance, as expected by a luxury resort property.  

Job Specifications: 

• Expected Pay Range: Starting $65,000 annually
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: 
  • Full-time year round
  • Dinner schedule, 5 nights per week
• Weekend and holidays as needed    

Job Responsibilities:

• The Restaurant Manager will assist the Director of Restaurants in supervising and coordinating the activities of the resort Food & Beverage Department in collaboration with other operating departments within the resort, aiming to provide standards of quality in product and service, and elegance equal in style and manner to 4-diamond status. 
• Create and adjust staff schedules to meet operational needs.
• Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.

Job Requirements: 

• Two years’ experience in a hospitality leader position, high-end restaurant preferred.
• Experience in the service industry required.
• Candidates must possess knowledge of restaurant POS system and should be able to multi-task while being on their feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 25-40 pounds. 
• Strong attention to details.
• Wine and overall beverage knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate calmly under pressure and provide Heartfelt Hospitality at every turn.
• Must have exceptional food knowledge.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
