Looking for a role where you can work independently, solve problems, and make a visible impact every day? We'd love to meet you.

Not everyone wants to sit at a desk all day. Not everyone wants the same routine every day.

At Manchester University, we're looking for a Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, improving spaces, and taking pride in a job well done. The right person takes initiative, identifies opportunities for improvement, and works independently while collaborating with the team to keep our campuses operating at their best.

This is a unique opportunity to work across both our North Manchester and Fort Wayne campuses, spending approximately three days each week in North Manchester and two days in Fort Wayne. You'll help maintain the environments where students learn, faculty teach, and our university community thrives. Responsibilities include building maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, facility improvements, and special projects across both campuses.

What You'll Do

You're Probably a Great Fit If You...

We welcome candidates from a variety of maintenance, trades, facilities, construction, manufacturing, and technical backgrounds. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply.

Why Manchester University?

At Manchester, you'll find more than a job. You'll join a mission-driven community dedicated to helping students discover their purpose and achieve their goals.

We offer:

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes ownership of your responsibilities, and wants to be part of a university community that makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help shape the spaces where learning happens.
