The Position
Southwest Forest Products is looking for an Administrative assistant with high level Excel skills. This position will report to the Transportation Manager. Specific duties include;
- Analytics – processing operation reports for Analytical data for management
- Responsible for managing the end process of Carrier contracts.
- Assisting with communication with Carriers.
- Responsible for processing invoices and load documents in our system & to accounting.
- Keeping Active and Terminated Carrier binders up to date.
- Working closely with management to help input data into our new Transportation software.
- Perform check calls to our Carriers to confirm they pick up loads or delivered loads.
- Assisting in calling to collect load documents from our Carriers on completed loads.
- Clerical duties such as photocopies, faxing, Scanning, emailing, filing and reporting.
Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have an optimum combination of the following:
- Must have higher than average Microsoft Excel
- Able to work in Team environment and follow Chain of command.
- Confidentiality is a MUST!
- Able to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
- Tenacious character and highly dependable (attendance is critical) candidates are preferred.
- Strong desire to advance.
- Bi-lingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
