Position Summary:

Provides support to operations by performing tasks related to scale and utility duties in a safe and efficient manner. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Perform first hour duties including, but limited to:
   1. Organize package area
   2. Order any supplies needed if not fork-lift qualified
2. Take daily samples to the lab with labels on red tags if on night shift
3. Scale finished product as needed
4. Build pallets
5. Run off scrap in scrap area
6. Remove scrap spools from skids and stack
7. Assist Group Leader as needed
8. Maintain perimeter housekeeping
9. Follow all safe work instructions and company policies and procedures  
10. All other work-related duties as assigned. 

 Qualifications Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle stress
• Capable of completing company-provided forklift certification within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer skills
• Basic reading, writing and math
• Must be able to master the skills required 

 Qualifications Desired:

• Magnet Wire Experience

Schedule: 12-Hour Shift on 2-2-3 rotation with 6-week swing from days to nights

Pay: starting at $25.00/hour

Physical Demand and Work Environment:

 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the manufacturing site including high temperatures. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.

• Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing stairs, reach above and below chest level, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with arms. This position works at various levels. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds and may be exposed to chemical, non-toxic fumes or dust. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Work Environment:  The employee will occasionally be exposed to Cold Temperatures <55 degrees and Heat >100 degrees. The environment is well lit; The noise level in the environment is loud due to exposure and use of fork trucks, but employee may be exposed to higher than 85 decibels on occasion, hearing protection is required. Employee may be occasionally required to enter confined spaces.
