Litigation Attorney

RumbergerKirk is seeking a motivated litigation associate with 3-5 years of civil litigation defense experience to join our Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney who enjoys working on meaningful, complex matters, interacting directly with clients, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You'll Do

• Handle cases from inception through trial.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and argue motions.
• Interview witnesses and experts and negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial-related documents.
• Work directly with clients and collaborate with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in complex litigation, general liability, commercial litigation, or business litigation preferred.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Alabama.
