Store Manager- Rosemont, IL

The Position

Vince Fashion Outlet of Chicago in Rosemont, IL is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Store Manager with a passion for luxury retail, client experience, and developing people. 

As the Store Manager, you will take ownership of the daily operations and overall performance of the store. You will lead the business by driving sales and profitability delivering an elevated client experience, and developing a high-performing team. You will recruit, onboard, train, coach, and retain associates to achieve business goals while ensuring the store consistently reflect Vince's standards for service, presentation, and operations.  

Salary Range

Range for this role is $90,000 to $105,000 annually plus eligibility for bonus incentive programs

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Drive store sales and productivity performance to consistently meet or exceed goals
• Identifying opportunities to grow the business by analyzing sales performance, client trends, and local market opportunities 
• Manage store profitability by effectively overseeing controllable expenses, including payroll, supplies, and shrinkage
• Develop and implement effective clienteling strategies to build long-term client loyalty
• Establish clear goals and expectations and communicate key metrics that drive success across the store
• Drive recruitment initiatives within the store to attract, identify, and develop strong talent aligned with the needs of the business
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to support individual and team performance
• Conduct regular performance conversations, monitor progress toward goals, and address performance concerns in accordance with company guidelines
• Manage team schedules the ensure appropriate staffing and floor coverage based on business needs, traffic, and sales opportunities. 
• Oversee daily store operations, including paperwork reconciliation, inventory management, and other business needs

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a luxury or contemporary retail environment
• Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising and store operations
• Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email
• Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use ladders or stairs 
• Strong leadership critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Delegate responsibility and work to the staff.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills allowing for communication of the company’s goals and objectives
• A positive, outgoing, high-energy personality that is entrepreneurial, who is sales focused and takes full ownership of the store’s business at all levels 
• A mentor and leader to staff and peers. Developing individual’s strengths and identifying opportunities.
• A trainer able to teach skills in customer service, selling, and operations
