Title & Survey Paralegal - Real Estate Development and Investments - Houston

The Real Estate Development and Investments Practice Group in our Houston office is seeking a Title & Survey Paralegal to join the team. This role supports a dynamic commercial real estate acquisitions, development and finance practice in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This position supports complex commercial real estate acquisitions, development and finance transactions with a primary focus on reviewing and analyzing title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, and related due diligence materials. Responsibilities also include drafting and reviewing transaction documents, assisting with closing coordination, tracking title and survey matters, and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate acquisitions, development and finance transactions.

Qualifications:

• Required: Experience reviewing title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, and related commercial real estate due diligence materials.
• Commercial real estate acquisitions, development and finance experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Preferred: (1) Bachelor's degree, (2) Paralegal Certificate or Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies, or (3) Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation.
