Mountain Safety Host

Position Overview

As a Mountain Safety Host at Mt. Hood Meadows, you're more than just a presence on the slopes, you're a frontline ambassador of safety, guest service, and mountain culture. This dynamic role places you at the heart of the guest experience, engaging directly with skiers and riders across the mountain to promote responsible behavior, assist with on-hill needs, and foster a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

With a strong foundation in advanced skiing or snowboarding, you'll patrol terrain, educate guests on slope safety codes, and support Ski Patrol with incident response and scene management. Whether you're helping a family find their way, de-escalating a tense moment, or setting a positive example on the mountain, your impact is immediate and meaningful.

This is a seasonal opportunity for individuals who thrive in alpine environments, are passionate about winter sports, and want to make a difference by combining guest service with safety leadership. If you value teamwork, integrity, and the unique rhythm of mountain life, this role offers a rewarding way to give back to the skiing and riding community while working in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
