NFM’s Shop Assistant is responsible for supporting team members in our repair shop and inventory control department. If you’re a team player and are looking to kick-start your career at NFM, this is a great place to start.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Repair: Cut glass, remove back panels and install mirrors
- Assist: Work with the inventory team to pick merchandise for delivery, cycle products in the repair shop and order supplies/product parts as needed
- Maintain: Organize lumber rack and keep the repair shop up to NFM housekeeping standards
- Safety: Keep all hazardous chemicals properly labeled and stored according to government standards

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months’ warehouse or labor experience
- Positive, upbeat attitude
- Ability to lift/push/pull required weights
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
