Do you have a passion for all things electrical? Do you love to fix electronics and computers? Do you have a heart to see a new generation of technical professionals raised up to serve the world for Jesus. If so, then we want to talk to you!

The Cedarville University School of Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for an Electrical and Computer Engineering Lab Technician. This is a full-time (2080-hours), non-exempt, staff position.

At Cedarville University, we cultivate technical professionals who are committed to excellence in character, conduct, and skill. Our rigorous engineering programs offer rich hands-on learning opportunities that directly engage students in their world. These opportunities require highly skilled technical support. Employment as a lab technician in our School of Engineering represents a unique opportunity to invest in the lives of students both inside and outside of the classroom, focusing on the development of the whole person in addition to technical training.

We seek applications from skilled technicians in electrical hardware design, electronics, and computer support. Industry experience in a similar role is considered highly desirable. Given our program’s emphasis on developing applied skills through lab-based and project-based learning, demonstrated experience in practical application and design implementation is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in technical education contexts and mentorship will also be highly regarded.

The School of Engineering and Computer Science is housed in a modern facility with extensive state-of-the-art laboratories. We offer ABET-accredited programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science (CS), as well as a program in Cyber Operations.
