JOB SUMMARY

HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization and a family of programs, is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery.

The Prototypes Women’s Center in Oxnard offers residential substance abuse treatment and detox services tailored specifically for women, including those who wish to involve their children in their journey to recovery. Our program in Ventura County aims to assist women in maintaining their progress in overcoming co-occurring disorders through a wide range of supportive services. Children can foster a secure attachment with their mothers in a secure setting, while also accessing mental health support and educational assistance. The facility can accommodate up to 56 women and 28 children for treatment.

The Overnight SUD Counselor I works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal treatment outcomes for clients, aligning with HealthRIGHT 360's core values, mission, and vision. This position provides continuous oversight of clients and their children throughout the facility, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment. The counselor will oversee various client activities, including chores, visitation hours, mealtimes, medication lines, detox processes, group sessions, donations, and free time, ensuring that all interactions are conducive to recovery and well-being. This role is crucial for maintaining a 24/7 coverage system, offering crisis intervention and stabilization when necessary. The Overnight SUD Counselor I will also provide compassionate support, guiding clients through moments of distress and ensuring they receive the proper care in alignment with individualized treatment plans.
