Position Summary

Under the sponsorship of Hamilton-Madison House (HMH), the Chatham Green/Confucius Plaza NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community) is a collaborative partnership among HMH, the housing partners, Chatham Green and Confucius Plaza, a healthcare partner, and older adult residents.

Beyond these core partners, NORC brings together community resources and develops, maintains, and expands strategic partnerships to create a supportive and engaging environment for residents age 60 and older. Through coordinated services, resources, and programming, the NORC supports older adults in their ability to age in place safely and independently while remaining active, connected, and engaged members of the community for as long as possible.

The Director provides overall leadership and oversight of the NORC program, ensuring that operations and services are delivered efficiently and effectively and are aligned with the program's mission, goals, and contractual requirements. The Director serves as a key representative of the program and works collaboratively with HMH leadership, housing management, elected officials, government and private funding sources, healthcare and community partners, residents, and the broader public.

The Director is responsible for fostering strong relationships among stakeholders and ensuring that all partners are aligned with the program's mission, vision, strategic objectives, and contractual goals. The Director also provides leadership in program development, partnership building, service coordination, community engagement, and the ongoing evaluation and improvement of services designed to meet the evolving needs of older adult residents.
