Description

Atlanta Habitat creates opportunities to transform lives through community-built sustainable homeownership, guided by our core values: purpose, excellence, servant leadership, humanity and positivity. Position Summary: The Development Superintendent is Atlanta Habitat's primary field resource for pre-development site preparation and day-to-day land development execution. The position performs field due diligence, coordinates DDH permitting and approved tree removal, manages lot clearing and other early site work, monitors active development construction, coordinates contractors, utilities and inspections, verifies completed work, and processes invoices. Working under the Director of Site Planning & Development, the Superintendent resolves routine field issues and promptly escalates decisions that materially affect design, cost, schedule, quality or regulatory compliance.
