Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Compensation: $70,000 base salary + commission + company car
Employment Type:  Full-Time W-2 Employee of Pella by Horne, including Full Benefits Package with paid expenses 

As a Business Development Representative for Pella Windows & Doors, connect with residential and commercial architects across Michigan to earn their business and become the brand of choice for their projects.   You will accomplish this through building trust, forming close working relationships, and applying learned product knowledge with both current customers and new prospects. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain relationships with residential and commercial architects and designers across 60 counties in Michigan.
• Build trust quickly through personal rapport and learned product knowledge. Deliver product demonstrations and discuss tailored solutions for design opportunities.
• Influence specification of Pella as the only brand of windows and doors to be used for your architects' projects.
• Stay close to your projects and customers, following through on important details and timely communications throughout the sales cycle to ensure a close to the sale, successful delivery of product, complete customer satisfaction, and repeat business.

• Demonstrate determination with 2+ years in current role: engaging with customers in a sales, account management, service, or brand ambassador capacity.

The successful sales rep is both impatient to spec projects and patient to see those projects through to completion. Year 1 sales reps will take home $80k-$90k. Stay through to year 3 and beyond, your annual income potential grows to $120k+ through a combination of base salary, earned commissions, and bonus programs.
