They are responsible for preparing for, assisting with, and cleaning up after surgical operations. An important part of their role is maintaining a sterile and functional surgical environment. A Surgical Technologist needs to be able to stand for long periods of time, remain alert and observant, work well under pressure, communicate clearly, and pay attention to detail.
