Portal Billing Specialist

Essential Functions

• Enter and submit customer invoices through online payment portals accurately and within required deadlines.
• Monitor portal submissions and follow up on rejected invoices to ensure timely resolution and resubmission.
• Review the invoicing mailbox and route invoice rejections and billing issues to the appropriate Analyst or Customer Service Representative.
• Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with internal teams to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.
• Process customer credit card payments accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Identify and resolve billing issues while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Experience, Education and Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous billing, credit, accounts receivable, or portal billing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the initiative to identify and resolve issues independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
