Description

The J's “Clubhouse” has two great options for childcare while parents/guardians workout at The J's Fitness Center. The J is seeking an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for working with children and providing a safe and engaging environment for children ages 3 months - 11 years.  The Little Clubhouse offers drop-in childcare for younger children ages 3 months to 5 years, to enjoy unstructured play with a variety of developmentally appropriate toys and equipment, children are encouraged to climb, crawl, explore and make discoveries. The Big Clubhouse is an active area for kids ages 5 to 11 years, youth get introduced to fitness-forward fun, we have a two-story slide, rock wall, and Ninja Warrior course, with additional space for those who prefer quieter activities like video games, coloring, reading, homework, or board games.

The Supervisor will assist managing staff working within the Clubhouse spaces - Leads, General Attendants, and Special Event Staff. This position is responsible for training and supervising staff, ensuring they are actively engaged with children and providing excellent customer service. The Supervisor will provide hands-on staff support during direct service hours in the Clubhouse childcare spaces and communicate operational or staffing needs to the Clubhouse Manager.

The Supervisor will support the Clubhouse Manager by documenting staff concerns and performance issues, communicating relevant information and observations, and assisting with follow-up as needed. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, and have experience in customer service, childcare, and staff supervision.
